If you don’t have time to rewatch all seven seasons…
Game Of Thrones returns next month, for its final season. You are probably already aware of this fact.
Many of you are probably trying to rewatch all seven seasons before the show starts up again. But that is a major time investment. 67 episodes of television to squeeze in, alongside work, sleeping, eating, having a life, reading Game Of Thrones rumours online, etc, etc.
But we have a solution to that predicament. Bryan Cogman is a writer and co-executive producer on the show – along with showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss he is the only writer to have been on the series since day one. So he knows his stuff.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, he has picked his 20 favourite episodes that he thinks you need to rewatch before season eight (well, technically it is 21 episodes, as he lumps the first two together as one).
It is definitely worth heading over to EW to read Cogman’s commentary on each episode – and see if you can figure out any new info he might have covertly dropped.
His full list of picks are:
WINTER IS COMING & THE KINGSROAD (Season 1, Episodes 1 & 2)
BAELOR (Season 1, Episode 9)
FIRE AND BLOOD (Season 1, Episode 10)
WHAT IS DEAD MAY NEVER DIE (Season 2, Episode 3)
