Netflix want to tell your dog’s story in Season 2 of their beloved documentary series

If you know any good boys and girls, it’s time to make them famous.

In terms of emotional documentaries, Netflix’s recent series Dogs was hard to top in terms of impact.

The six episodes were released in November and the docuseries (dogumentary?) celebrated the emotional bonds formed between people and their four-legged friends.

Well, after Season One proved to be such a hit, Amy Berg and Glen Zipper are returning with a new season and they could be about to tell your dog’s story.

In a statement released to Variety, the duo said: “We are so excited that our pack is back for Season 2 of Dogs. From the beginning we have said that the joy shown in Dogs helps bring people together and that same feeling will translate more than ever in Season 2.

“‘Dogs offers us the ability to explore some of the most important human stories through relationships with our best friends and it’s been amazing to see how much these episodes have touched audiences and critics across the globe.

“Most importantly, our fans have become part of our extended family and we are honoured to bring them a fresh set of stories that will allow us to connect with them yet again.”

The producers are also looking to make your dog – or a pooch that you know – a star because they haven’t settled yet on which stories to tell yet.

Since the new episodes have not started production, submissions of pets and service dogs can be made via social media.

All you need to do is tag the show’s show account (@netflixdogs) and use the hashtag #netflixdogstory on Twitter and Instagram.

The show’s official Twitter page shared the casting call and if you think that your dog’s story deserves to be told, now is the perfect chance.
