If you’ve been getting excited about seeing the Stone Roses reunion this summer, then you might want to start saving up.
Ticket prices for two gigs at Manchester’s Etihad Stadium next June, followed by another appearance at T in the Park in July, have been released on Tuesday – and some fans aren’t happy.

With general admission for standing tickets costing £59, a number of Roses followers took to Twitter to express their disappointment…

But given how much it generally costs to attend top music events these days – and the rare chance of seeing one of the UK’s greatest ever bands – plenty think it’s a fair price…
According to people on here Roses tickets are £59 + fees…so about £65. Mad, but not quite as bad as I expected.

What do you think? Will you be shelling out? For what it’s worth, it was £59 a ticket back in 2012 when the band last played together. So zero inflation in four years isn’t bad at all…
And this is probably a wise warning for anyone who’s complaining…
