Maybe now we will value the NHS the way we always should have
If the outbreak of COVID-19 has done one slightly positive thing in the United Kingdom, it has been the fact that people appear to appreciate the National Health Service the way they always should have.
Our NHS workers on the frontline against this illness have shown incredible bravery and devotion in the face of a pandemic, and with protective equipment generally not fit for purpose.
In spite of this, they work on, treating our friends and relatives, and at 8pm on Thursday March 26, Britons took to their window sills, front doors and balconies to applaud the heroes in our health service.
