Learn French in lockdown with these useful phrases

Rich Cooper

Bonjour, lecteur

That means ‘hello, reader’ in French. At least I think it does. But since I don’t speak a huge amount of French I cannot be quite sure.

We’re all living in lockdown at the moment, and this time presents us with the opportunity to learn some skills that we didn’t have before. You’ve already perfected the ability to sit through eight hours of Netflix and the art of eating pizza while playing the PlayStation. But now it’s time for something new.

It’s time to pick up a new language, or at the very least a few words. I called upon my friend Aurore for help in learning French while I’m confined to my home bar one designated piece of exercise, and she was kind enough to send on a video featuring some helpful French phrases.
