Thiago Silva seems convinced that Cristiano Ronaldo is bound for Paris

Simon Lloyd

After he was pictured into Paris Saint-Germain coach Laurent Blanc’s ear last week, speculation has been rife that Cristiano Ronaldo will join the French champions.

Adding further fuel to the fire is PSG’s Thiago Silva, who seems to believe that Ronaldo will be moving to the French capital.

Speaking to RMC (reported by Goal.com), Silva states that the Real Madrid man would have no trouble adapting to life in Paris.

“I don’t know [if Ronaldo will sign for PSG] but it’s fun playing with such major players. Ronaldo is the best player in the world. If the club wants him, of course the PSG squad would be happy.

“He is a very good player, technically essential for all teams in the world and especially for PSG who have a big dream to win the Champions League with great players.

“I think Ronaldo will come. I do not know what happened with Blanc after the game because he did not say but I hope [there were positive talks between the two].

“He speaks French very well, perhaps better than me, and if it happens next year he will have no difficulty speaking with the media.”

With plenty of reports suggesting that Ronaldo is considering his future in Spain, we can expect plenty more rumours in regards to the three-time Ballon d’Or winner’s future.
