Gary Neville had Cristiano Ronaldo in the hotseat at the London premiere of his new film.
While Gary was interviewing the former Manchester United star, his brother Phil was at home watching the FA Cup draw for Salford City, which is co-owned by the brothers and their ‘Class of 92’ compadres.
With Salford getting a juicy second round home tie with League Two side Hartlepool United, co-owner Phil thought it might be the right time to call in the cavalry.
The BBC’s documentary showed that the tried to blag Paul Scholes to lace up his boots one more for a Salford cup game (this was his brilliant response).
But now Phil Neville has been joking about his brother using his one-on-one with Ronaldo to get the Real Madrid star on a cheeky loan.
