It was reportedly his first goal in the professional league
An ice hockey player from Hungary has made headlines after taking a goal celebration a little too far.
You may not have heard much from the Erste Liga before. It’s an ice hockey league comprising teams from Hungary and Romania. However, if this goal celebration is anything to go by, perhaps you’re missing out.
Marko Csollak was playing for MAC HKB Újbuda in the the Erste Liga fixture against Fehérvári Titánok on Sunday, when he put his side in front in the seventh minute of the game.
Understandably feeling elated, the 18-year-old forward then ran towards the arena’s glass wall to celebrate.
However, the glass wasn’t strong enough to hold his weight. Csollak smashed through the wall, falling out onto the concourse beside the rink.
The goal was reportedly Csollak’s first as a professional player in the Erste Liga, so you can understand his excitement.
Wait for it. Celebration of the Year. 😂

Despite how dangerous the celebration looked, the player looked to be suffering more from embarrassment than any sort of physical injury.
His team went on to eventually win the game 4-3. At least he can look back at his first goal with a smile – and it will certainly be remembered for a long time.
The 18-year-old can probably count himself lucky that he doesn’t play football.
Wearing so much protective gear, the injury risk is minimised. However, when football players have celebrated a little too eagerly, the outcome has sometimes been a lot worse.
Former Argentina striker Martin Palermo was once playing for Villarreal, when an overzealous goal celebration saw him break his leg, ruling the Argentine out for six months.
If he hadn’t missed three penalties in one game, he would probably be remembered for that injury instead.
Former Premier League forward Lomana Lua Lua also injured his ankle performing one of his trademark somersaults while playing for Portsmouth.
