‘Don’t go to 2020’
Lil Nas X has released a trailer for his latest single, and it features an appearance from Michael J Fox as Marty McFly.
The rapper tweeted a short clip for his new Christmas song ‘Holiday’, which follows on from the cowboy theme of his worldwide smash hit ‘Old Town Road’.
The festive teaser sees Nas time-traveling back to a Wild West town, where he notices Santa Claus being thrown out of a saloon. He then picks up his hat, which bears the message ‘YOU ARE THE NEW SANTA’.
His horse then grows antlers, and he flies off in a rocket-powered sled. “To Be Continued…” then appears on-screen in a way that apes the ending of Back To The Future Part II.
Michael J Fox then appears as Marty McFly, dressed as a cowboy like he does in Back To The Future Part III.
“Whatever you do Nas, don’t go to 2020,” he warns.
The name of the single is also written in a font that greatly resembles the Back To The Future titles as well.

The single is released on Friday 13th November, and hopefully, it will feature more Michael J Fox.
Fox, of course, played Marty McFly in the Back To The Future trilogy between 1985 and 1990, and this is not the first time he has reprised the character since the movies.
On October 21st 215 – the ‘future’ date that he travels to in Part II – both Fox and Christopher Lloyd appeared in character on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
The same year, the duo also appeared in a Toyota commercial alongside YouTube science personality Go Tech Yourself.
Lil Nax X broke through in 2019, after his country-rap crossover ‘Old Town Road’ became a hit on TikTok. It was originally deemed ineligible for the Billboard Country chart, which led to Lil Nax X recording a remix with country singer Billy Ray Cyrus.
