Fantasy League hero Dimitri Payet will be out until the new year, and it’s clear he’s not happy with James McCarthy for the tackle that caused his ankle injury.
Payet is set to miss the next three months following the challenge, which saw McCarthy pick up a yellow card…and a huge amount of abuse from fans on social media.
The French midfielder has vowed to come back stronger, but not before posting footage of the tackle to his Instagram profile.
Perhaps he wants people to make up their own minds about whether the punishment handed to the Ireland midfielder was appropriate.
