Australian presenter offers his impassioned take on “weak” ISIS after Paris attacks

This is powerful

Waleed Aly, co-host of The Project in Australia, has offered his take on the only way to beat Islamic State in the wake of the Paris terror attacks.

Calling for solidarity, Aly claims that the terrorist organisation are weak and that their strategy is to split the world into two camps by deliberately trying to make Muslims the enemy.

Admitting that he, like many the world over, is furious and sickened by the atrocities that took place in the French capital, Aly claims that everyone now has a duty to stick together and not help them by spreading divisive messages of hate.

“If you are just someone with a Facebook or Twitter account firing off misguided messages of hate, you are helping ISIL — They have told us that.”
