On February 15, 2003, many millions of people around the world took part in global anti-war demonstrations. It was an almighty expression of defiance and anger…
But impact did it really have? How much has changed since one million people in London alone marched in united anger of their country’s invasion of Iraq?
Director Amir Amirani explores these questions in his new film We Are Many. It looks at how a movement created by a small band of activists ‘changed the world’.
The film, which took nearly a decade to make, features the likes of Damon Albarn, Ken Loach and the late great Tony Benn, as well as key government decision-makers.
