McGregor claims he doesn’t even know who Machine Gun Kelly is

Conor McGregor has broken his silence on the altercation with Machine Gun Kelly that occurred at Sunday’s VMAs.

The 33-year-old UFC fighter has hit out at the rapper, branding him a ‘little vanilla rapper boy’ and insisting he doesn’t know who he is aside from dating Megan Fox.

At the time, TMZ reported that altercation all started over McGregor asking the artist for a photo, which McGregor’s spokesperson has since denied.

McGregor has now spoken to Entertainment Tonight on the issue, claiming that ‘nothing’ happened.

“Absolutely nothing happened. I don’t know. He showed up, and I don’t know. I don’t know the guy,” the UFC champ told Entertainment Tonight.

“Nothing happened with me, I only fight real fighters, people that actually fight, you know what I mean.

“I certainly don’t fight little vanilla boy rappers. I don’t even know the guy. I don’t know anything about him, except that he’s with Megan Fox.”

But despite his numerous statements, eye-witnesses told Page Six that the sports star was ready to ‘throw fists’ on the red carpet.

“They scuffled then it settled down and Conor went for him again,” the source shared.

“McGregor was ready to throw fists. Security was having trouble holding him back.

“Everyone was screaming,” they continued.

Machine Gun Kelly, whose real name is Colson Baker,  was asked for his statement on Sunday night but refused to comment on the matter.

Machine Gun Kelly went on to win best alternative in recognition of his song My Ex’s Best Friend, while McGregor took to the stage to away Justin Bieber the artist of the year award.
