Every year…
I’m A Celeb viewers have been left unhappy with this year’s batch of camp mates, with many having the same complaint – they don’t know who any of them are.
This is despite the line-up including a former Premier League legend, two Team GB gold medallists, two chart-toppers and Richard Madeley.
One person claimed that they could only “pick out two or three faces” from the current line-up.
This I'm a celebrity line up is dead, can only pick out two or three faces! #ImACeleb

Another chimed: “Brave move from #ImACeleb to decide not to get any actual celebrities this year…”

A third wrote: “I haven’t a clue who these celebrities are like…”
Another viewer complained: “Is it just me or does anyone else think these celebrities are getting worse each year?”
This year’s selection of camp mates includes David Ginola, Louise Minchin, Snoochie Shy, Richard Madeley, Frankie Bridge, Kadeena Cox, Matty Lee, Naughty Boy, Danny Miller and Arlene Phillips.
However whether viewers recognise many of the celebs or not, it looks like the trials are going to continue to be utterly grim.
The series opener on Sunday night saw soap star Miller, music producer Naughty Boy, presenter Minchin and radio DJ Shy attempting to walk across a wooden plank 213 feet in the air above a quarry lake, before stamping on a button with their foot to make their opponent’s platform drop.
Meanwhile French footballer star Ginola, paralympic gold champion Cox, former Strictly Come Dancing judge Phillips and Tokyo 2020 gold medallist diver Lee faced another challenge which saw them put their hands in snake-filled “hell holes” to unlock two flare boxes.
Later in the show, TV host and journalist Madeley and former The Saturdays star Bridge faced the Turrets Of Terror – a three-level structure built in front of Gwrych Castle – after receiving the most votes from the public. This involved them making their way through three floors whilst critters and bugs were poured over them.
This evening, two celebs – one of which will be Emmerdale star Miller – will be taking on the “dreaded diner”, trying to win stars for their respective teams.
Expect plenty of animal’s unmentionables and a fair bit of retching. Not one to have a late dinner to.
