Despite the hype, there were plenty of people still tipping Conor McGregor to fall flat on his face against Jose Aldo at UFC 194.
The Irishman has proven a divisive figure during his meteoric MMA rise and some rivals – we’re looking at you, Joe Riggs – thought Saturday would be the night his dream ended.
But not Kenny Florian.
The former UFC title contender made a huge call about McGregor’s quality ahead of the featherweight decider.
And he was clearly feeling vindicated after McGregor took just 13 seconds to claim Aldo’s best, re-posting his prediction on Instagram.
