Jose Aldo might want to change his Instagram profile after devastating KO loss to Conor McGregor

There's a new king in town...

Jose Aldo took his crushing first round defeat to Conor McGregor pretty badly.

One minute you’re the world featherweight champion, the UFC’s pound-for-pound king and a man that has gone unbeaten for 10 years – then 13 seconds later you wake up on the canvas having been robbed of the lot.

Aldo was in tears inside the Octagon after that stunning single shot from The Notorious ended his stranglehold on the division.

His heartbreak continued in the dressing room and even McGregor said he felt pity that the fight couldn’t go on longer with such a ‘phenomenal champion.’

Aldo must be avoiding social media like the plague. The world is still waiting to hear the first words online from the Brazilian in the wake of the defeat.

But it seems like he’s probably still trying to come to terms with such a devastating loss to the trash-talking Irishman he was so hell-bent on shutting up at UFC 194.

A quick look on his Instagram account and you can still see the profile picture of Aldo in happier times – enrobed in the regalia of a champion and king.

A crown still sits atop his head on Aldo’s Facebook profile too.

But there’s a new king in town now and he doesn’t look ready to give up his newly-claimed throne any time soon.
