Twitter responded gloriously to the #ExplainAFilmPlotBadly trend

Producers and screenwriters will regularly say that one of the most important steps in making a feature film is pitching their idea to a studio.

While some films like ‘The Matrix’ or ‘Inception’ might be a harder sell than the likes of ‘Home Alone’, there’s a lot to be said for a clear idea and a solid synopsis.

This is definitely not what the latest Twitter hashtag trend had in mind, with plenty deliberately trying to #ExplainAFilmPlotBadly. Some of the descriptions are hilarious.
