Pep Guardiola is expected to leave Bayern Munich in the summer and head for England, and it seems that the German giants have already secured his successor.

Carlo Ancelotti, who has been out of management since his departure from Real Madrid, is said to be on the brink of being unveiled as Bayern’s next manager.

The Italian has agreed a contract in principle with Bayern to replace Pep Guardiola at the end of the season, according to a report in The Guardian.

The report claims that the Bayern hierarchy have known for some time that Guardiola doesn’t want to extend his stay in Germany and have moved swiftly to secure the services of Ancelotti on what is expected to be a three-year contract.

Guardiola is set to announce in the coming days that he intends to leave Bayern, with Chelsea, Manchester City and possibly Manchester United mentioned as his next destination.
