Well it has been mooted for the last few days and now it’s official – it’s Pep out and Carlo in at the Allianz Arena.
Bayern Munich Chief Executive Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has confirmed to German news outlet Bild that Pep Guardiola is leaving the club at the end of the season, to be replaced by former Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti.

Unless there is a successful last minute push from Manchester United to entice the Catalan coach to Old Trafford, it seems increasingly certain that Guardiola will confirm his forthcoming appointment at Manchester City in the next week or so.

In fact, even current City manager Manuel Pellegrini seems resigned to being replaced by the former Barcelona man.
