After the fight come the excuses…
Following his points defeat to Floyd Mayweather at the MGM Grand, Manny Pacquiao blamed the loss on a nagging shoulder injury sustained in training.
The Filipino boxer also complained that he wasn’t allowed treatment before facing Mayweather, with promoter Bob Arum claiming his fighter may now need an operation.
Promoter Bob Arum says Pacquiao basically had to fight Mayweather one-handed due to shoulder tear.

Following the fight, Pacquiao told reporters: “Two weeks before the fight, my shoulder was getting better and better, but it still wasn’t 100 percent.”
A pain-killing injection might have helped, but the Pacquiao camp left it too late to notify the Nevada Athletic Commission.
“I have no proof of the injury,” chairman Francisco Aguilar told Yahoo Sports. “If he told us on Friday, we would have gotten the MRIs and there are a lot of things we could have done.”
Nevada Athletic Commission says they weren't made aware of Pacquiao request for injection into shoulder until 6.30 – too late so refused
