Leicester City missed the chance to go into the new year as Premier League leaders as Manchester City held them to a goalless draw at the King Power Stadium.
It was an open game, by no means as boring as some other goalless affairs have been this season, but the relative lack of goalmouth action meant more time for Twitter wisecracking.
Admittedly, much of it focused on Raheem Sterling’s haircut.

The visitors might have been given a chance to take the lead in the second half when Sergio Aguero went down in the box under Gokhan Inler’s challenge.
It’s safe to say Leicester’s Twitter account saw things very differently.
