PIC: Conor McGregor celebrates a special anniversary, and hints at more for 2016

Conor McGregor has quite a memorable year.

He entered 2015 with critics on every side saying that he was nothing but a hype man who would be found out once he went against a real opponent.

But after taking down Chad Mendes to win the interim featherweight title, The Notorious then took just 13 seconds to KO Jose Aldo as he unified the featherweight titles and became the undisputed UFC champion at that weight.

Now his plans for 2016 are clear, as he looks to become a two-weight UFC champion by making the step up to lightweight.

McGregor previously held titles at two different weights during his Cage Warriors days, and reminded fans of this fact on the third anniversary of his victory.
