Ahead of the Ballon d’Or ceremony in Zurich, Switzerland, the three finalists took part in a joint press conference.

With Lionel Messi almost certain to win his fifth award, and Neymar seemingly delighted to have made the final three for the first time, the holder Cristiano Ronaldo perhaps wants to get the whole thing over as quick as possible.

But the Real Madrid forward seemed in good form ahead of the ceremony, and even revealed he’s slightly envious of one aspect of his rival’s game.

When asked which of Messi’s attributed he’d like to possess, Ronaldo reportedly said he’d be happy with the Argentine’s left foot.”

When the same question was put to Messi, the Barcelona genius said: “I don’t feel envy. That’s a negative trait.”

Prompting Ronaldo to burst into tears, and run out of the auditorium crying hysterically*.691593_cristiano-ronaldo-crying(*Or remain seated and smile politely).

Meanwhile, when the same question was put to Neymar, he proved that in addition to being a world class footballer, he is capable of defusing the most awkward of situations.
