Video: Dana White discusses his dream fights for UFC 200

Huge names...

JOE

Fantasy MMA time for the UFC president.

This week Dana White allowed himself to dream as he discussed potential match-ups for July’s bumper UFC 200 event.

Uncle Dana was speaking with Michael Lansberg on his On the Record show and stated UFC 200 – set for the 20,000-seat Las Vegas Arena – would feature some of the top names from the promotion.

He name-checked Conor McGregor, Georges St-Pierre, Jon Jones and the unlikely return of Ronda Rousey. White commented:

“Obviously, to have the biggest of shows, you’d want the Rondas, the Conors, the GSPs, the Jon Jones.

“You’d want to stack the card with all available talents.”

Asked about St-Pierre returning, White said a fight with welterweight champion Robbie Lawler would be “huge” and Anderson Silva would be “fun”.

As for Jones, White was open to the possibility of the UFC’s pound-for-pound best fighter stepping up to fight for the heavyweight belt.

“Sure,” said White. “Not only does he have the size for the heavyweight division, he has the talent.”
