Stoke City fans have come under fire after making fun of an old Aaron Ramsey injury during Sunday’s 0-0 draw with Arsenal.
The Welshman spent over 10 months sidelined after Ryan Shawcross broke his leg back in 2010, and Potters fans decided this would be a good memory to bring up when Arsenal arrived at the Britannia Stadium.
Ramsey suffered a double leg fracture thanks to the challenge, but it seems that Stoke fans still hold a grudge against him for how he treated Shawcross after the incident.
The defedner tried to apologise to Ramsey with a letter but the Arsenal midfielder has reportedly refused to speak to Shawcross since the foul.
As some form of retaliation, Stoke fans roared a new chant aimed at Ramsey during the Premier League clash on Sunday. “He walks with a limp” has not been received well by the football community, as you can imagine.

Sounds like Stoke fans had their brains broken same day as Shawcross decimated Ramsey's leg. #SFCvAFC

Ramsey getting hammered by the Stoke fans & booing him. It's his prerogative not to accept Shawcross's apology. To boo Ramsey is ridiculous

HATE these Stoke fans! The audacity of that 'walks with a limp' chant! Ramsey should score and then limp as a celebration! Scumbags.
