One lucky punter made full use of the cash-out option during Liverpool’s dramatic 5-4 victory at Carrow Road.
After Roberto Firmino had given Liverpool the lead, Norwich responded with two goals to put them 2-1 up at half time.
At this point, the punter decided to put £2.63 on the game finishing in a 4-4 draw at odds of 100/1.
Incredibly, Sebastien Bassong’s strike two minutes into stoppage time appeared to have secured the unlikely result.
With the full-time whistle imminent, very few would have opted to cash out on their bet.
Thankfully for this punter, he managed to cash out, bagging himself £239.07 before Adam Lallana bagged the winner for Liverpool with virtually the last kick of the game.
