We were waiting for some clever punch line or joke.
But nope it’s just a gratuitous sex scene bizarrely trying to get people to eat less meat which just made us really hungry and quite horny.
It is aimed at getting more people to ditch meat and high cholesterol food to stop clogging up their arteries – and it seems to be suggesting that vegans have better sex.
But the advert, created by animal rights group Peta, has been banned from appearing during the big money half time slot at the Super Bowl because it’s too saucy, apparently.
It was due to be screen during the half time break between the Denver Broncos and the Carolina Panthers at Super Bowl 50 on February 7 which is expected to attract more than 100million viewers.
We can just imagine middle America choking on their hotdogs when this came on. But sadly it won’t be hitting TV screens because of its explicit content.
Peta Senior Vice President Lisa Lange said: ‘Super Bowl 50 audiences will be missing out on comedy, sex appeal, and the lifesaving message that vegan meals can help clear clogged-up carnivores and get their blood pumping again
‘PETA’s edgy but crowd-pleasing TV spot shows that vegans may have a banana in their pajama pocket, just to snack on later, but they’re also really pleased to see you.’
We like the sex thing, but do we have to give up bacon?
