Jurgen Klopp is reportedly ready to make a £20m move for Javier Hernandez

If Man United fans were disappointed about Javier Hernandez leaving the club, things could be about to get a whole lot worse.

The former Old Trafford favourite has been in startling form for Bayer Leverkusen since his summer move to the Bundesliga, racking up 19 goals in 25 games whilst United flounder.

According to the Times, Jurgen Klopp has identified the Mexican hotshot as his number one target to strengthen his faltering/crocked forward line – and wants him in as soon as possible.

Firmino may be enjoying a rich vein of form, but he isn’t exactly an archetypal striker. Daniel Sturridge, Danny Ings and Divock Origi are consigned to the injury bay, whilst Christian Benteke has failed to convince the Anfield faithful.

The Times report that the player would ideally join Liverpool this month, but in case Leverkusen refuse to sell now, the Merseyside club would return in the summer with a £20m bid.
