Barcelona forward Neymar has been charged by Brazilian authorities with tax evasion and falsifying documents over a seven-year period.
Authorities allege that the Brazil captain committed the crimes between 2006 and 2013, when he made the transfer to Barcelona.
Neymar is the latest player to be charged with tax evasion at the Catalan club after both Lionel Messi and Javier Mascherano found themelves in similar difficulties.
Mascherano was actually sentenced to jail time, although it remains to be seen whether or not he will serve any of his sentence.
