Everyone knew Gary Neville faced a tough test at Valencia, but no one expected it to be this bad.
The head coach has failed to win any of his first eight league games, while things got even worse when Barcelona trounced Los Che in the first leg of their Copa Del Rey semi-final.
And despite Neville being adamant he has no plans to quit the Spanish club, plenty are backing him to throw in the towel and return to where he has always performed well – analysis on Monday Night Football.
Odds on the former Manchester United captain returning to the programme have been slashed to 11/4 with some bookies, while much of the chat on Twitter points in the same direction.
MNF has missed you Gary Neville. See you soon #football #sky

Can you imagine if Gary Neville heads back to MNF how badly Jamie Carragher is going to roast him constantly after this Valencia stint. Lol.

Can't wait to see @Carra23 terrorise Gary Neville when he gets sacked and returns to #MNF
