The numbers say it all! Press conference ratings prove Conor McGregor is the man of the moment

The numbers don't lie

There were a lot of eyes on the pre-fight press conference for Conor McGregor v Nate Diaz’s welterweight clash at UFC 196. A lot of eyes.

The Notorious has never tried to hide his love of numbers. He famously claimed to be the undisputed king of UFC pay-per-view at the GO BIG event – boasting the biggest paydays and his ability to draw the most attention to the sport.

And so far it’s been hard to argue against McGregor being the “ruler of the numbers” as he continues to thrust himself into the limelight recently vacated Ronda Rousey and Jon Jones.

The viewer total for the UFC 196 live press conference featuring McGregor and Diaz peaked at over 360,000 on YouTube alone – and that’s not including the people who tuned in on Fight Pass.

With figures like that, McGregor’s claim to being one of the biggest sports stars on the planet right now looks pretty credible…
