As for Anderson Silva, if only his evasion skills were as good at the weekend.
Ahead of UFC London, which was headlined by the Michael Bisping clash with Anderson Silva, MMA Crazy did the rounds asking for UFC 196 predictions.
The majority of the 10 fighters asked selected Conor McGregor to take out Nate Diaz in the UFC 196 main event. Only Mike Wilkinson called for Diaz.
Anderson Silva dodged the question entirely, stating only that he was looking forward to the fight.
Bisping, who beat Silva by decision on Saturday, hopped clean off the fence. He declared:
“There is no way in hell that Diaz is going to beat Conor McGregor. It’s as simple as that. It ain’t gonna happen.
“Diaz is a great fighter but Conor is on another level.
“Not to mention, Diaz has taken the fight on a weeks’ notice. There’s no way he can defeat Conor McGregor. Diaz could only possibly win by decision and he’s not going to. He’s had one week to prepare.”
Bisping concluded with a betting tip for us all – “Put your money on Conor McGregor.”
To do what Michael? To do WHAT?!
