It’s back

One of McDonald’s most iconic burgers is returning to menus in the UK for the first time in almost a decade.

After years of anticipation, the legendary McRib is making its triumphant return to McDonald’s nationwide at 11am this morning (October 16).

The legendary McDonald’s item features a tender pork patty in the shape of a rack of ribs, barbecue sauce, pickles, onions, all served in a homestyle bun.

First introduced to Brits in 1981, the sandwich was discontinued four years later, but has returned several times to menus.

However, it hasn’t been seen in UK restaurants since December 2014, just under 10 years ago.
