Since missing out on League Cup glory to Manchester City, Liverpool supporters have enjoyed an upturn in fortune.
A 3-0 league victory over City went some way to avenging their Wembley defeat and was followed by a gutsy 2-1 victory away at Crystal Palace – made all the more impressive by the fact that their two goals were scored after James Milner’s sending off.
With two league victories sparking some life into what seemed like an impossible push for a top four finish, a convincing 2-0 Europa League victory over Manchester United put Liverpool on the brink of the competition’s last eight.
Although there’s plenty left to play for in what remains of this season, the three victories have seen some of the club’s supporters start to think about what lies in wait for next campaign.
With that in mind, we asked Liverpool fans what they were expecting from next season. Here’s what they said:
For many, a top four finish was seen as a realistic target:

@JOE_co_uk Top 4/CL the absolute priority. A cup run wouldn't be vital, but I wouldn't mind us going for one.

@JOE_co_uk with jurgen doing this without any of his own players I would be shocked if they didn't finish top 4

For others, a run of three successive wins has raised expectations beyond top four territory:
@JOE_co_uk @BeardedGenius 1st in the league. And a cup. What?

In fact, some feel that *anything* is possible:

We suspect that Evertonians might have heard such optimism before…
@JOE_co_uk Its their year.
Every year.
