Michael Owen might well take a bit of flak for his commentary style, but rarely does he trend on Twitter because of it.

With Mark Lawrenson featuring as a co-commentator during BBC coverage of Reading’s FA Cup clash with Crystal Palace, hundreds vented their frustration.
