Slayer tease UK tour dates for 2025
Slayer have teased details of headline UK tour dates for 2025 – and this is everything we know so far.
The group posted their logo on social media alongside the flags of England and Wales, suggesting an upcoming tour.
The post was accompanied by the caption: “Sign up at SLAYER.NET for exclusive updates and access.”
It would mark their first shows since The Farwell Tour, which took place across 2018 and 2019.
It was the conclusion of the band’s 38-year long career and featured 147 shows across the globe including Download Festival, and a European arena tour.
Last year they played festivals sets at Riot Fest Chicago and Aftershock in Sacramento, marking their return to the live stage.
The teaser of a headline tour comes after the group were confirmed to be playing at Black Sabbath’s final ever show.
They’re on the lineup for ‘Back to the Beginning’ at Birmingham’s Villa Park on Saturday, 5 July alongside Metallica, Gojira, Alice In Chains and Halestorm.
While members of Red Hot Chili Peppers, Limp Bizkit, The Smashing Pumpkins and more will form a supergroup at the show.
It’s billed as “the greatest heavy metal show ever” and will mark Sabbath’s first performance together in 20 years with the original band of Ozzy Osbourne, Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward.
