Purchasing tickets for your favourite band can be a nightmare.
As soon as lines of purchase are open, official distributors are inundated with throngs of feverish fans all competing for their place at the go-to gig. Quite often servers go down, you’re put in a queue, and before you know it, all dates are sold out.
Well one of the biggest ticket companies out there are trying to simplify the purchasing process for your favourite concert, play or sporting event.
Ticketmaster will start rolling out an exciting feature in coming weeks that will allow you to buy tickets directly on Facebook. It will mean far fewer clicks, a simplified process, and you won’t even need to go on their website to secure your place at your favourite night out.

Dan Armstrong, the company’s VP and general manager of distributed commerce, told Buzzfeed:
“By putting the ability to buy tickets directly within Facebook we hope that we’re going to provide a more seamless purchase experience and sell more tickets.”
The buy-on-Facebook feature will initially be limited to a select group of general admission events, but will be fully rolled out in coming weeks.
