What a night.
Coming from behind again and again, Liverpool somehow managed one of the all-time great European comebacks in their 4-3 home victory over Borussia Dortmund at Anfield.
Such was the see-saw nature of the game that there were stages when Liverpool were roundly mocked by rivals and criticised by their own fans when defeat looked a formality.
But somehow, some way, Liverpool managed the most remarkable, wonderful comeback. As you’d expect, their fans on Twitter greeted the win with pure unadulterated ecstasy…
