Leicester City may have salvaged a late point at home to West Ham, but it could have come at a cost.
Jamie Vardy was sent off after picking up a second yellow card for simulation, ruling him out of the home meeting with Swansea.
But now it has emerged that the club’s top scorer could be sidelined for longer, as a result of his response to being shown a red card.
Vardy is alleged to have launched a four-letter outburst at referee Jon Moss, and the Football Association have charged the England striker with improper conduct.

Leicester are eight points clear of second-placed Tottenham, though the London club can close the gap with victory over Stoke City on Monday night.
Vardy has played in all 34 of Leicester’s Premier League games this season, scoring 22 goals, and fired home the opener against West Ham before being dismissed.
Leicester, who have also been charged with failing to control their players following the awarding of a 83rd-minute penalty against them, have until 6pm on Thursday to appeal the decision.
