Harry Kane absolutely destroyed Chelsea in one brutal sentence

Ouch.

If you thought it was impossible to love Harry Kane more than you already do, think again.

The England striker has led from the front for Spurs this season, regularly getting himself on the scoresheet and being a constant positive influence in the dressing room.

So it must have been hard for him to see Tottenham’s title hopes fall away at Stamford Bridge, and that probably wasn’t aided by the Chelsea players’ jubilant reaction at holding Spurs to a draw.

While there were handbags in the tunnel after the match, Kane dusted himself off and gave a level-headed post-match interview, and with one sentence, he completely tore Chelsea to shreds.

“When the ex-Champions are celebrating like they’ve won the league, it shows that we’re doing something right,” Kane told the BBC.

Ouch.

After a game that had its fair share of controversy, it’s a wonder Kane wanted to do any post-match press at all.

Kane’s teammate Mousa Dembele could find that his season is effectively over, after TV cameras caught him “gouging” Diego Costa.

While he didn’t appear to do any physical harm to Costa, it’s likely Dembele will be punished for the incident nonetheless.
