For those that (some how) weren’t aware, Sky Sports are going to great lengths to let everyone know that The Last Game at the Boleyn Groundâ„¢ is nearly upon us.
West Ham’s old ground, which most people prefer to call Upton Park, opens its turnstiles for the last time on Tuesday night, with Manchester United the visitors.
Sky are due to screen the match and have seemingly been reminding us of this during every possible advert break over the last couple of days.
But as if their special advert for the game wasn’t enough, Sky Sports News has been broadcasting live from the old ground for large chunks of Monday, much the the irritation of many of those on Twitter…
Some ironically suggested that they weren’t paying enough attention to the significance of the occasion…Â
Just wondering about Upton Park or whatever it's called. I wouldn't want the last fixture there to go without mention by @SkySports

Others were still coming to terms with the fact that they’d been calling it the wrong name all these years…
Just watching Sky Sports….didn't West Ham's "Beloved Boleyn" used to be called Upton Park?..

But generally speaking, the majority of those tweeting about it made it clear that they felt they were going a little over the top about it all.
Why are sky showing a programme on West Ham leaving Upton Park don't recall for any other club man city Arsenal to name 2 might be wrong

I'd recommend swerving sky sports news today. Major West Ham wank fest all day

And it wasn’t just fans of other teams that were finding it a little irritating. Even West Ham supporters were getting irked by it all.
Why are Sky at Upton Park all day? Enough already #westham
