Note the use of inverted commas around the word drunk in the headline.
We wouldn’t dare suggest that the Super Furry Animals were slightly intoxicated during their appearance on Soccer AM on Saturday morning, but it seems that plenty of people on Twitter thought just that.

The Cardiff band were on the final Soccer AM of the season, promoting their new single ‘Bing Bong’. The single is their first since 2009 and comes in time for their nation’s football side’s appearance at Euro 2016 – their first major international tournament since God was a lad.
Before long, plenty on Twitter were suggesting the band members were a little worse for wear.

But plenty of other viewers found it all quite entertaining:
I never watch SoccerAM, but it was worth catching a bit today to see how gloriously dishevelled Super Furry Animals looked!
