Mamadou Sakho will hopefully see the funny side.
The France defender is still waiting to hear his fate after failing a drugs test earlier this year.
In the wake of Liverpool’s quarter-final win over Manchester United in March the centre-half tested positive for what is believed to be a fat-burning supplement, and is therefore ineligible for Wednesday’s Europa League final against Sevilla in Basel.
Sakho is likely to be in the stadium as a spectator, and hopefully, he will get to see some of the witty banners that ‘Pool fans are bringing to Switzerland making fun of his run in with the Uefa drug testers.

Although some fans don’t find them funny at all.

And you can see their point.
Soz but I don't find these Sakho banners funny really. The idiot should be playing on Wed & we're celebrating his stupidity on banners. Nah.

Although how funny it will be if Dejan Lovren or Kolo Toure gets injured is a different matter.Â
