P Diddy has been arrested for allegedly threatening an American football coach with a kettlebell.
The 45-year-old music mogul, who is now on bail, is said to have become embroiled in an altercation with strength and conditioning coach Sal Alosi at UCLA’s training complex, allegedly swinging at him with a weight after criticising his 21-year-old son Justin.
Following the incident, UCLA head football coach Jim Mora issued a statement, saying: “I’m thankful that our staff showed the level of professionalism that they did in handling this situation. This is an unfortunate incident for all parties involved.”
He added that UCLA “will let the legal process run its course and refrain from further comment at this time”.
Diddy – who’s been charged with three counts of assault with a deadly weapon, one count of making terrorist threats and one count of battery – is reported to have been angered by how hard the coach was working his son and by his confrontational approach, according to gossip website TMZ.
