Here’s where you can watch the Champions League final for free

Free you say?

It’s not often you get ‘summat for nowt’ these days, but tonight the Champions League final is on the house.

BT Sport are generously letting us all watch Atletico Madrid take on Real Madrid in the denouement of club football’s biggest competition – and it won’t cost you a penny.

You don’t have to be a paid-up BT subscriber either to watch the all-Madrid game, which is a re-run of the 2014 final that saw Real run out 4-1 winners over their local rivals after extra time.

Your first port of call is Freeview and BT TV channel 59, if you want to watch it on an old school TV.

If you’re a Virgin customer just switch to channel 548 or if you’re with Sky just flick over to either channels 414 or 433 to watch the game.

Alternatively you can watch the final live on the BTSport website which will feature all the build up from the San Siro from 6pm.

Just like the Europa League final between Liverpool and Sevilla, the match is being live streamed on BT Sport’s YouTube channel with full build up and match coverage.

It kicks off at 7:45pm so there’s plenty of time to get some cold ones in the fridge.
