Cristiano Ronaldo wins the Champions League for Real Madrid, proceeds to rip off his shirt

11 – the number of Champions Leagues Real Madrid have now won.

5 – the number of penalties they put away in the shootout in comparison to Atletico’s four.

1 – the number of French managers that have won the Champions League.

9,724 – the number of times Cristiano Ronaldo has taken off his top on camera.

Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid couldn’t be separated after 90 minutes yet again.

Goals from Sergio Ramos and Yannick Carrasco saw the Champions League final end 1-1 and, after a dull extra time period, it was Zinedine Zidane’s men who held their nerve in the penalty shootout, with poor Juanfran missing the only strike in 10.

Inevitably, it was Cristiano Ronaldo who stood up for the decisive kick and, inevitably, he won it for Real Madrid to clinch his third European title.

Even more inevitably, his shirt was dispensed of quicker than you could say Real.

One more for the road.
