Step forward Bruno Alves, who managed to do precisely that as England faced Portugal in their last match before Euro 2016.
With a ball bouncing in the direction of Harry Kane on the England right, the Spurs man nodded the ball down into his own path as he attempted to make progress towards the Portuguese box.
Alves did his best to stop Kane, seemingly trying to kick his head clean off his shoulders.
