It’s a shame this will only be worn for one season.
One of the shames of teams launching three new kits every year – in addition to fans having to fork out for them every 12 months – is that no matter how classy the kit is, it has a limited shelf life.
In some cases this is a good thing – any time a team has a neon yellow colour jersey, for example.
But in the case of Liverpool’s leaked away shirt for the 2016/17 season, it’s a pity it’ll be replaced in 12 months time.

According to Footy Headlines – who are almost always ahead of the curve when it comes to leaked kits – Liverpool will line out in black next season away from home, with red lines on the side and white on the trim.
The away shirt also features a famous quote from Liverpool legend Bill Shankly on the inside, reading: “Liverpool was made for me and I was made for Liverpool.”
*Update.
Footy Headlines were proved correct, and Liverpool officially launched their kit on Thursday morning.
