This Arsenal kit launch karaoke footage with Jamie Foxx will make you die inside

It will make you cringe so hard...

Ben Kenyon

Why do clubs keep doing this stuff to us?

We’re only just getting over Manchester United’s gut-churningly bad video of Jesse Lingard doing an instructional video of how to dab. No amount of cold showers will expunge that from our memory..

Arsenal, obviously wanting to raise the stakes, did a Facebook Live from their Hollywood kit launch which featured celebrity Arsenal fan Jamie Foxx.

The new PUMA kits looked pretty fly to be fair and Gunners fans seemed chuffed about the new away and third strips…but then this happened.

Four minutes of pure, unadulterated, toe-curling cringe-worthiness of the highest order.

Right from the off you’re hit with dance music, a bloke in an Arsenal shirt chanting ’49 undefeated’ and a rather confused looking Jamie Foxx.

Then it just keeps getting weirder. More Arsenal chants are belted into the microphone before Foxx, who seemed actually to be enjoying himself, started singing (rather well to be fair) a rendition of the Eurythmics’ ‘Sweet Dreams’.

It’s beyond explanation, so we’re not even going to try. Just watch…

It seems it wasn’t just us…

The rest of the Arsenal faithful were lapping it up…especially the Jamie Foxx being a Gunner part…

But others were wondering why the party was in full swing when the club had only one functional frontman…
