He’s in phenomenal shape.
There’s less than a week to go until UFC 202 as Conor McGregor aims to exact a measure of revenge on Nate Diaz following his defeat at UFC 196.
In keeping with his word, The Notorious has been less vocal in the buildup to the rematch against the American, having suffered a shock second-round submission back in March.
But if this training footage is anything to go by, the featherweight champion won’t need to rely on mind games to get an edge over Diaz.
We’ve all seen some of McGregor’s rigorous gym sessions before, but this is something else. Take a look as he performs an impressive amount of abdominal curls before repeatedly being punched in the abs.
Ok, Diaz didn’t beat McGregor by targeting his abs, the Stockton native inflicted some serious damage to McGregor by delivering devastating punches to his face before being forcing him to submit via submission, but The Notorious looks like he’s in great shape ahead of the highly anticipated fight.
